| | | |  Sayangdev Naha, Ph.D., Research Engineer:
Dr. Sayan Naha oversees ADA’s nanotechnology program (EHS, nanometrology, nanomedicine) and heads the firm’s office in the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, Blacksburg, Virginia.
Dr. Naha is principal investigator for two research projects based on the application of unique properties of carbon nanostructures:
(1) A Novel Nanomaterials Approach for Cancer Imaging and Therapeutic Treatment, funded by NIH; and (2) A Carbon Nanotube Metrology System for Counterfeit Detection, funded by NSF.

Sheryl joined ADA in the summer of 1998, coming from a very unique and unusual background. It certainly explains her expertise at versatility and diversity. Sheryl's responsibilities lie in website design and management, graphic design, marketing materials, the proposal submission process, administrative assistance, software and computer support, social director and general all-around corporate mom - earning her the Associate of the Year Award in 2000 & 2006, the Farmer Brown Award in 2006, the President's Award in 2002 and again in 2007, and the Commercialization Award in 2008.

Mr. Veatch, a Senior Research Engineer, joined ADA in 1999 after consulting on a number of engineering projects. He is a registered professional mechanical engineer, and is currently heading up PhysioNetics®, a company slated for spin-off that will develop and manufacture high-performance prosthetic and orthotic appliances for amputees.

Nick started his relationship with ADA in the summer of 2005 as a consultant focused on ADA's ElectroDecon™ system. In 2006, after realizing how many challenging projects could be found within ADA, Nick was brought on as Director of Strategic Partnering and a member of the senior management team. Nick also leads the sales and marketing efforts for Mercury Control Technologies, an ADA spin-off.
